How to Get Gold Ore

Gold Ore is the raw material needed to make Gold Ingots. Based on how every other ore in Witchspire works, Gold Ore is obtained by mining Gold ore nodes in the game world.

Where to Find Gold Ore Nodes

  • Specific locations have not been documented by the community yet. Needs verification
  • It's likely found in mid-to-late game areas, given that Gold Ingots are a higher-tier material. Needs verification

Tips

  • If you've found Silver Ore nodes, keep exploring — Gold nodes may be in similar or higher-level zones. Needs verification
  • Community data on Gold Ore is very thin (only 2 posts found). If you find Gold nodes, consider sharing the location.

How to Smelt Gold Ore into Gold Ingots

Correct Station: Furnace (Not Crucible)

Use the Furnace to smelt Gold Ore into Gold Ingots. Do not use the Crucible — there is no smelting option for Gold there.

"There is no option in the crucible."Danjo, Steam Discussion "How to melt gold ore?" (Jun 12) — Community-reported

Smelting Steps

  1. Collect Gold Ore from mining.
  2. Go to a Furnace.
  3. Select Gold Ingot from the smelting options.
  4. Wait for the process to complete.

⚠️ Known Bug: Ore Deletion on Batch Smelt

There is a reported bug where batch-crafting Gold Ingots can delete your Gold Ore without producing any Ingots. This was reported on Jun 16, 2026.

Workaround: Smelt Gold Ingots one at a time instead of using batch/queue crafting until this bug is fixed.

Needs verification — bug may have been patched in a later EA update.
